The max heart rate displayed within Healthy 365 mobile app is only an estimation based on the participant’s reported age. It does not take into consideration the participant’s current fitness level. Participants are advised not to exceed your max heart rate when exercising. It is also not advisable to exercise for long periods of time where the heart rate is very close to the max hear rate as risk of injury and exhaustion is higher. Participants are reminded to be mindful of their own fitness condition while exercising within the MVPA range as recommended by Healthy 365 mobile app especially if they have not been exercising for a long period of time, or just started on being physically active. Participants must stop their exercise and consult with their doctor if they do not feel well at any point in time.
