How Long Does The Battery Last For AXTRO Fit 3?
Under normal circumstances, AXTRO Fit 3 would last around 5-7 days between charges. However, frequent use of workout mode, turning on screen and syncing would result in significant decrease in battery life. Thus, we recommend charging the tracker within that period to retain the memory to be synced back to Healthy 365.
When Does National Steps Challenge Season 6 Start?
National Steps Challenge Season 6 will officially kick off on 11 October 2021. Why is the Healthy 365 mobile app only recording my steps but not my MVPA duration?
The Healthy 365 mobile app will only register MVPA duration for exercise sessions that last more than 10 minutes; and at moderate to vigorous levels of intensity. Even if you do not qualify for the MVPA category, the Healthy 365 mobile app will still be able to record your MVPA duration, with no Healthpoints awarded.
Syncing Issue With Healthy 365 / AXTRO Fit 3
If you are facing issues syncing your AXTRO Fit 3 with Healthy 365, there might be several factors that are causing the issue. Here are some of our recommended steps that you can try in sequential order to remedy your issue: 1. Force close and reopen Healthy 365, and let the app sync with the tracker automatically 2. Manually sync the tracker by tapping on "Sync" button on Healthy 365 3. Unpair / forget your tracker under your Phone's Bluetooth settings 4. Turn off & on: WiFi, Mobile Data, Bluetooth. For Android devices, kindly ensure that your tracker is not paired to your phone under the Bluetooth setting (under your phone setting). If it is paired, un-pair it. 5. Turn off and on the tracker 6. If you're in a place with a lot of wireless devices, move to a more isolated place to prevent possible interference 7. Try to sync at a later time, occasionally when there are high volumes of syncing. The server would take a longer time to sync the data causing the sync to be incomplete. If all the above steps do not work, kindly contact HPB support for further assistance. They can be contacted at [email protected] / 1800 567 2020
How To Charge AXTRO Fit 3?
AXTRO Fit 3 comes with a magnetic charging cradle. Connect the USB plug into a USB port (5V, 1A) and attach the cradle to AXTRO Fit 3. When the device is charging, a charging indicator would be shown on the tracker screen. When the battery is full, the screen will display "Charge Complete". It should take around 2 hours to fully charge the tracker. Best Practices: 1. Always ensure that the AXTRO Fit 3 and magnetic charging cradle is completely dry before charging 2. Check that the tracker is worn firmly above the wrist. A good gauge would be two-fingers’ width above the wrist bone. The heart-rate sensor of the AXTRO Fit 3 has to be in full contact with the skin. Is AXTRO Fit 3 heart rate tracking accurate?
AXTRO Fit 3 uses a PPG (photoplethysmography) sensor, a light-based technology to sense the rate of blood flow as controlled by the heart’s pumping action. The tracker is meant to provide users with information to encourage an active and healthy lifestyle. The tracker is intended to be a close estimation of participants’ activities and metrics tracked but may not be precisely accurate even though the accuracy is benchmarked against other major fitness trackers in the market. Do note that AXTRO Fit 3 is not a medical device and the data provided is not intended to be utilized for medical purposes
How will my heart rate be recorded by AXTRO Fit 3?
AXTRO Fit 3 can track participants’ heart rate as they move throughout the day. Heart rate is measured in beats per minute (bpm) and can vary from person to person depending on factors like age and fitness level. It is not necessary to trigger the heart rate function as the tracking is done automatically throughout the day. However, participants who wish to monitor their heart rate more accurately in real-time may trigger the Workout Mode function manually.
What is Moderate to Vigorous Physical Activities (MVPA)
Physical activity is a core component of a healthy lifestyle and covers a range from incidental movement such as commuting to leisure-time physical activity such as sports and exercises that range from moderate-intensity to vigorous-intensity. Moderate-intensity physical activities refer to those that cause a noticeable increase in breathing rate and heart rate. For instance, individuals who walk at approximately 100 steps per minute should get to an intensity where they would be able to carry on a conversation but do not have enough breath to sing. Vigorous-intensity physical activities refer to those that cause large increases in breathing rate and heart rate. For instance, one would typically not be able to carry out a conversation while jogging or doing step aerobics but is not out of breath. For more information on MVPA or higher intensity physical activity, please refer to gethealthy.sg/moveit.
What should I do if I think my AXTRO Fit 3 is not recording my sleep data accurately?
Possible scenarios that you may face: - Wore tracker while awake but sleep was recorded When there is a lack of arm movement (e.g. desk-bound tasks such as typing, or a sedimentary lifestyle such as watching TV/movies), sleep monitoring may be triggered mistakenly. In the event of such discrepancy on your tracker, kindly try the following steps: 1. Check if such sleep periods coincide with periods of little or no arm movements. 2. If this becomes a persistent issue, consider removing your tracker from your tracker during those sedentary periods. - Did not wear tracker but sleep was recorded You might experience this as your tracker might detect that it has been worn by a sleeping user. Should you experience such discrepancy, put the tracker flat with the HR sensor facing downwards (e.g. on table top) - Wore tracker to sleep but sleep was not recorded Likely due to: 1. Ineligibility to sleep monitoring programme (check Health 365 records for eligibility) 2. Short sleeping times - sleep monitoring will only track sleep sessions of at least 2 continuous hours 3. Poor sleep quality - disrupted or large arm movement might prevent the tracker to enter sleep monitoring mode - Wore tracker to sleep but sleep recorded is less than expected Such discrepancy occurs due to: 1. Sleeping habits 2. Sleep quality 3. Activity before and after sleep - Wore tracker to sleep but sleep recorded is more than expected Such discrepancy occurs when users lie on the bed for some time before their actual sleeping time, as the sleep recorded might include the time users lying in bed and actual sleeping time
Where can I view my sleep data?
You will be able to see your sleep duration when you sync your AXTRO Fit 3 on the Healthy 365 app. You will not be able to view the sleep data on your fitness tracker.
What is Sleep Tracking for AXTRO Fit 3?
AXTRO Fit 3 automatically tracks your sleep duration as long as it is turned on, has sufficient battery and worn correctly on the wrist when you go to sleep. There is no need to activate sleep tracking. For more information on the sleep tracking function, refer to https://www.healthhub.sg/programmes/mindsg/sleep-tracking-faq
What should I do if I reach my maximum heart rate?
The maximum heart rate displayed within Healthy 365 mobile app is only an estimation based on the participant’s reported age. It does not take into consideration the participant’s current fitness level. Participants are advised not to exceed your maximum heart rate when exercising. It is also not advisable to exercise for long periods of time where the heart rate is very close to the maximum heart rate as risk of injury and exhaustion is higher. Participants are reminded to be mindful of their own fitness condition while exercising within the MVPA range as recommended by Healthy 365 mobile app especially if they have not been exercising for a long period of time, or just started on being physically active. Participants must stop their exercise and consult with their doctor if they do not feel well at any point in time.
How do I know if my activities are of moderate-to-vigorous intensity?
Moderate-to-vigorous intensity is attained at least 64% of the maximum heart rate (Source: National Physical Activity Guidelines, Health Promotion Board, 2011). An individual’s maximum heart rate is estimated to be 220 minus the individual’s age. The AXTRO Fit 3 is able to track participants’ heart rate automatically throughout the day, as long as the tracker is worn correctly on the wrist. From 11 October 2021 onwards, the duration of MVPA, or higher intensity physical activities would be automatically computed when participants sync their fitness records to the Healthy 365 mobile app. Participants may tap on “National Steps Challenge Season 5” on the Healthy 365 mobile app dashboard to check their MVPA duration. Please update the Healthy 365 mobile app to the latest version from 11 October 2021 onwards in order to enjoy the full features of the National Steps Challenge Season 6.
